The McAuley Catholic High School and Sixth Form would like to congratulate our Year 13 ‘Class of 2021’.  They should be rightly proud of their achievements whatever the extraordinary COVID-19 circumstances this year and they fully deserve their sparkling results as they were based on evidence of what they produced over their time in the sixth form.

Many of our students have secured the grades required to progress to a range of different university and apprenticeship pathways. The majority of our university applicants have been successful in their applications to institutions including Russell group universities, conservatoires, drama schools and non-Russell group universities. Thank you to all staff and parents for your support.

This remarkable set of students can be very proud of the way they upheld the traditions of McAuley and we are delighted with their successful progression to a range of destinations. It was great to see that their hard work paid off in fine style.

There have been a number of notable achievements in a variety of subject areas reflecting the professional excellence of all our teachers and our Sixth Form team who have contributed so much to the success of the students in their care.
We also acknowledge the support given to the students by their parents and carers during their time in McAuley;  it is these home/school partnerships that are the strength of the school.

Nothing is achieved without endeavour and our students and staff have worked phenomenally hard over the last two years, dealing admirably with the vast changes in post 16 education, to make these results possible and they reflect the high level of commitment to study that we strongly encourage at McAuley.

Our Sixth Formers are a positive example to us all showing that excellence can be achieved by anyone, no matter their starting point, by working hard together and believing that nothing is impossible!

This unique set of students can also be proud of the contribution they have made to our school community, both those who have been at McAuley since year 7, and the many who joined us for Sixth Form from other schools, both within and outside the Doncaster area. They have been a credit to themselves and to McAuley through their role modelling of behaviour, leadership and through their involvement in extra-curricular, fundraising and in-school activities.

All our Sixth Formers take with them our best wishes. We wish them happiness and success in the next exciting chapter of their life journey and we look forward to hearing many great things from them in the years ahead.
